Living The Iowa Difference
Sometimes it's best to take a fresh look at where you want to go and how you want to get there.
That was the challenge laid down to the physicians, staff, and volunteers at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics nearly two years ago.
What ideas and goals should we embrace? How will we work together? How can we maximize our success as Iowa's only comprehensive academic medical center?
The goal: create a working blueprint for the years 2006 through 2010.
The result was a strategic plan with a name—The Iowa Difference—that reflects three areas of priority: innovative care, excellent service, and exceptional outcomes.
