Profile: UI Hospitals and Clinics


University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics-consistently ranked among America's best hospitals-annually records over 789,000 clinic visits, including off-site clinical outreach and UI Family Care clinic sites.

During the past fiscal year, medical care was provided to more than 581,000 Iowans from all 99 counties, more than 42,000 patients from Illinois, over 9,000 patients from all 48 other states, and 217 patients from 27 other nations.

Pediatric services are provided through University of Iowa Children's Hospital, an advanced pediatric facility within UI Hospitals and Clinics.
