University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics--consistently ranked among America's best hospitals--annually records over 780,000 ambulatory clinic visits, including outreach and UI Community Medical Services Inc. clinic sites.

During the past fiscal year, medical care was provided to 581,861 Iowans from all 99 counties, 42,708 patients from Illinois, 9,426 patients from other states, and 217 patients from other nations.

Pediatric services are provided through Children's Hospital of Iowa, a state-of-the-art pediatric facility within the UI Hospitals and Clinics.
