A Multi-disciplinary Approach

Asthma is an increasingly common and severe disease that affects more than 200,000 Iowans.

Current treatment approaches allow asthmatics to lead normal, productive lives; when uncontrolled, however, asthma can be severe and even life-threatening.

Adult Asthma Services uses a multi-disciplinary approach to the assessment and treatment of asthma and related airway disorders, and provides state-of-the-art care.

We also provide education and training in self-management of asthma, advice on environmental assessment and modification, and inform our patients about opportunities to participate in relevant clinical trials.
