The Cancer Information Service answers questions about cancer.
Whether you are a patient, family member, friend, health professional or a school child writing a report, the Cancer Information Service provides answers to your questions
about cancer. As a follow-up to your question, the CIS often provides written materials from a variety of national organizations.
The Cancer Information Service provides information on:
- Risk factors for cancer and how to reduce your risk
- Screening tests for cancer
- Symptoms
- Diagnostic tests

Cancer Information Service staff members do not make medical recommendations, but respond to general questions about cancer and act as an information resource.
