Testing, Diagnosis and Staging
Many people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia have no symptoms. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia is diagnosed many times on a visit to the doctor, for another reason. When symptoms do develop, they come on gradually. They may tire more easily and feel short of breath when physically active. Some people may lose weight. They may have recurrent infections of the skin, lung or kidney.
