Testing, Diagnosis and Staging
Symptoms of chronic myelogenous leukemia develop gradually. Some people may tire more easily and feel short of breath when physically active. Others are pale in their complexion due to anemia. Discomfort on the left side of the abdomen due to an enlarged spleen is a symptom in some people. Excessive sweating, inability to tolerate warm temperatures and weight loss are other symptoms of CML.
