Can myeloproliferative disorders be prevented?
No. There is no evidence that anything can prevent myeloproliferative disorders.
What are the risk factors for myeloproliferative disorders?
Exposure to ionizing radiation has been linked with chronic myelogeneous leukemia. The other disorders do not have any known risk factors.
