Testing, Diagnosis and Staging


There often are not early signs of pancreatic cancer. Some of the symptoms that make people seek medical attention for cancer of the pancreas are:
  • Jaundice–yellow skin
  • Pain in the back and upper abdomen
  • Indigestion, lack of appetite, nausea and weight loss
  • Sudden onset diabetes, or sudden change in blood sugar control
