Cancer of the lining of the uterus or womb is called endometrial cancer. It is the most common cancer of the female organs. It accounts for 13% of all cancers occurring in women. Fortunately the occurrence and death rates of uterine cancer has been on the decline. This type of cancer is often diagnosed early so the cure rate is high.
