Our trained professionals are part of an educational outreach program of the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at The University of Iowa. Established in 1987, the Cancer Information Service has grown into a nationwide service providing information on cancer prevention, risk factors, symptoms, early detection, treatment, and coping skills.
Cancer Information Service staff members do not make medical recommendations, but respond to general questions about cancer and act as an information resource.
