The philanthropic generosity of John and Mary Pappajohn of Des Moines has enabled the development of a new level of diagnosis and therapy not previously available to cancer patients in Iowa. The Pappajohns' expressed commitment to the Center's excellence provides a comprehensive, clinical cancer care resource to serve Iowans and other patients who are referred to UI Hospitals and Clinics from other states and nations.
