Smoking Teens: Heart Attack


Heart Attack

Sudden cardiac death is 2 to 4 times more likely in smokers than in non-smokers. Smoking is the greatest risk factor for heart attacks because nicotine causes blood vessels to narrow decreasing the heart's oxygen supply.
