Lymphoma and Leukemia
Tissue Samples

Lymphoma and Leukemia tissue samples are available through the Tissue Procurement Core via the Iowa / Mayo Lymphoma SPORE tissue bank. All of these samples have been collected fresh and processed into single cell suspensions and stored in liquid nitrogen. Many of the samples are also linkable to clinical data. Distribution of this clinical data may require further IRB approval.

Lymphoma and Leukemia Tissue Samples *
170 Peripheral blood samples collected from subjects with lymphoproliferative diseases and evidence of circulating tumor cells. The majority of these samples are from subjects diagnosed with CLL/SLL, but we also have samples from subjects with mantle cell lymphoma
10 Peripheral blood samples collected from subjects with myeloid leukemia diagnoses.
66 Bone marrow aspirate samples collected from subjects whose bone marrow showed evidence of lymphoma. Diseases represented in this group include CLL/SLL, follicular lymphoma, lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, and precursor B-lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma.
35 Bone marrow aspirate samples collected from subjects whose bone marrow showed evidence of myeloid leukemia.
6 Bone marrow aspirate samples collected from subjects whose bone marrow showed evidence of multiple myeloma.
83 Solid tissue samples (lymph nodes, stomach tissue, spleen tissue, etc.) collected from subjects whose biopsy showed evidence of lymphoma. The diseases represented in this group include CLL/SLL, Hodgkin lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, and mycosis fungoides/sezary syndrome.
