The Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at The University of Iowa, Iowa's only National Cancer Institute Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, serves to enhance cancer-related research, education, and patient care. The Cancer Center brings together faculty from 27 departments in seven colleges including oncology specialists from nursing, urology, medicine, surgery (including breast, GI, thoracic, endocrine, gynecologic, and orthopedic specialists), neurology/neurosurgery, otolaryngology, pediatric and radiation oncology within the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
