Radiothons
Children's Miracle Network radiothons benefit the children and families cared for at University of Iowa Children's Hospital. Through interviews and stories, our partnering radio stations introduce pediatric patients and families who are receiving specialized care.
Radiothon donations have made a difference by:
- Purchasing medical equipment designed especially for children
- Funding research to find cures and treatments for childhood illnesses
- Providing toys, games, and activities to brighten the lives of hospitalized children
- Enabling teenage patients to gather in their own "Teen Lounge," a place to share time and make friends
