Position Summary:

Management Engineers serve as consultants and project leaders on process improvement projects.  Utilizing a systems approach and the principles of Lean Production and Six Sigma, they help analyze processes and re-design them to optimize the delivery of services and products.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide training and leadership for UIHC kaizen activities.
• Lead long-term improvement projects.
• Facilitate implementation of standard work and communication of best practices.
• Assist in collection and analysis of performance data

Education:

• MS, Chemistry
• MS, Industrial Engineering

Special Interests & Activities:

• Adjunct instructor, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
• Use of data mining in the clinical environment
