The DeGowin Blood Center “Rootin, Tootin, Recruitin” Team celebrated the 4th of July by marching in the Coralville 4th of July Parade. The DeGowin Blood Center staff had a  wonderful time tossing candy, t-shirts, waving, and saying “Hi” to all our great donors in the crowd. We would like to gratefully acknowledge Harold Scheer who is a loyal donor and friend of the DeGowin Blood Center and who encourages people to donate blood where he finds an audience and to Robert Stork and Lois Boxa who kindly allow the use of their horse and cart to help promote our mission.
