Alamo Bowl Blood Drive

On Thursday, November 30, the DeGowin Blood Center and UI Football Program again joined forces for the Alamo Bowl Blood Drive. The blood drive was held in the UIHC Papajohn Pavilion with 65 donors rolling up their sleeves, 27 of the donors were members of the UI Football Program.  Four footballs autographed by the players in attendance and Coach Ferentz were raffled and “I Bleed Black & Gold” t-shirts were given to all donors. It was a great way to emphasize the need for blood during the holiday season and to wish the Hawks best of luck as they head to the Alamo Bowl.
