The DeGowin Blood Center would like to thank everyone who made the “Hawkeye Fleece” campaign such a success. Approximately 625 blood and platelet donors completed the program and earned a Hawkeye Columbia Fleece.
2006-2007 Donor Reward Program
Our new donor reward program begins on September 1, 2006. Anyone donating blood or platelets 4 times before August 31, 2007, will receive a warm and cozy Stadium Blanket in Hawkeye colors embroidered with the UIHC DeGowin Blood Center logo.
Your continued support is invaluable to us and to the patients we serve. Donating 4 times per year ensures a steady blood supply and allows us to provide the very best health care available.

*Blood center regulations require a 56-day waiting period between whole blood donations and a 28-day waiting period between platelet donations. To complete this program, your initial whole blood donation must be made no later than March 16, 2007. For platelet donors, your initial donation must be made no later than June 8, 2007.
