Caballero received her her undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work from The University of Iowa. She has worked in the field of dialysis social work since 2001. She visits the outreach dialysis facilities in Grinnell, North Liberty, Washington, and Muscatine, in addition to sharing responsibilities within the home dialysis program.
