M. Gwen Beck, MD, received her medical degree and completed her residency at The University of Iowa. Her areas of clinical expertise include primary care and internal medicine.

Elizabeth Clark, MD, completed her medical degree at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.  She completed a residency and fellowship in family medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University. Her clinical interests include chronic disease and healthcare quality.

Daniel S. Fick, MD, completed his medical degree at The University of Iowa, a residency in family practice residency and a fellowship in sports medicine at UI Hospitals and Clinics. His clinical expertise is in family practice and sports medicine.

Christopher J. Goerdt, MD, MPH, received his medical degree from The University of Iowa. After completing a residency at University of Washington Affiliated Hospitals in Seattle, he completed a general internal medicine fellowship at University of Minneapolis Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis. His clinical expertise is in primary and preventive care as well as preoperative assessment.

Paul James, MD, received his medical degree from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and completed a residency at University of Virginia Hospitals and a fellowship at State University of New York at Buffalo. His clinical interests lie in family medicine and his research interests include practice-based research networks, quality of primary care measures, rural health service delivery, medical education, and measures of instructional quality. James is the Head of the Department of Family Medicine, an Endowed Chair in Rural Medicine at Iowa Academy of Family Physicians, and a professor at the Roy J. and Lucille A Carver College of Medicine.

Melinda Johnson, MD, completed her medical degree at Brown University School of Medicine and completed both a residency and fellowship in internal medicine at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. Her clinical interests include hypertension, gender issues in medicine, and hyperlipidemia.

His clinical expertise is internal medicine, clinical information systems, integrated care programs and medical student education.
