ICON - ICON (Iowa Courses Online) is the course management system at the University of Iowa. It is based on the Desire2Learn platform. One use of the D2L platform is for mandatory compliance training for all healthcare workers including residents and fellows.

ICON encourages faculty adoption and an enhanced student experience. This full-featured system is being built to meet diverse on-campus and distance learning needs. ICON is intended to improve efficiency while eliminating barriers to teaching and learning. The ICON implementation process also is working to support integration with other systems and services on campus.

The Vault - a resource for Program Directors, Program Coordinators, Resident/Fellows and the Graduate Medical Education Committee and is managed from dot netnuke.

The Point - a set of tools and resources designed for employees of UI Hospitals and Clinics and Carver College of Medicine to stay informed about news and events, have ready access to on-line tools, and communicate with others.

MedHub - Iowa's Graduate Education Management System. It is a web-based application designed to house, document, track and monitor program requirements and educational experiences. MedHub's reporting function assists in the monitoring of individuals, groups, programs and outcomes. It combines experiences, milestones and artifacts with the portfolio function and facilitates collaborative communications. MedHub is used by all those invested in Graduate Medical Education at Iowa.
