What makes shopping so special in the Iowa City/Coralville area? It's the variety. Iowa City's downtown area offers a variety of quaint shops and boutiques. Malls on Iowa City's east side and to the west in Coralville offer a large number of choices--both local businesses and chain stores. Small towns, a short drive away, offer antique stores, craft shops, and even outlet malls to satisfy every type of shopper. Here are some examples:

The Soap Opera

West Music

Established 1940, West Music has an extensive inventory of music, musical instruments, pianos, and organs becoming the exclusive distributor for German percussion products by Scheidmayer Celestes and Thein triangles. Pagliai’s Pizza
