About Us

The Helen K. Rossi Volunteer Guest House is named in honor of the notable contributions of volunteers at UI Hospitals and Clinics. As one of the founders of the Volunteer Services program in 1973, Helen Rossi worked tirelessly to enhance humanism in serving our patients. She provided inspiration, leadership and vision to the hundreds of volunteers who served with her.

The Helen K. Rossi Volunteer Guest House is a home away from home for patients and their families at UI Hospitals and Clinics. Our mission is to provide high quality, affordable accommodations in a home-like environment to support a patient-centered health care experience.
