For New Patients to the UIHC and Hemophilia Treatment Center:

Call the Hemophilia Treatment Center at 1-800-272-3547, options1-4, to discuss your diagnosis, history, and to obtain a form giving your consent to release previous medical history to the Hemophilia Treatment Staff.  Comprehensive Care will be reviewed and you will then be transferred to the scheduling numbers above to schedule a comprehensive exam.

For Current Patients of the UIHC and Hemophilia Treatment Center

• Current Patients Who Require Appointments Related to an unresolved bleeding episode or other concern, call the HTC nurses at 1-800-272-3547 option 1 or 2.

Scheduling Hemophilia/Bleeding Disorder Comprehensive Visits:

The Pediatric or Clinical Cancer Center scheduling staff will schedule appointments.  They will have reminder lists on who is due for their clinic visit, and will schedule the appointments approximately 2-4 months in advance.  A letter notifying you will be sent approximately 6-8 weeks before your clinic appointment. 

If you wish to choose your own appointment date, please call the Pediatric or Clinical Cancer Center schedulers to schedule your appointment.  We recommend calling at least 8-12 weeks prior the month you would like to come, and to let the scheduler know if you have other appointments you would like coordinated at that time.
