Dr. Robert L. Schneider started with us full time on January 1, 2005.  Dr. Schneider received his DDS from the University of Southern California and practiced general dentistry in Arizona for five years before earning his MS and Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Iowa in 1983.  He has previously been the Director of the Graduate Removable Prosthodontic Residency Program and has been the Clinical Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Implant Center at the University of Iowa for the past ten years.

Dr. Schneider is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists, Past President of the American Prosthodontic Society and also serves as the Executive Director of the American Prosthodontic Society.  He is also a Fellow in the International Team for Implantology and the Academy of Osseointegration.

He treats patients that are missing teeth utilizing crowns, bridges, partial and complete dentures, frequently in combination with dental implant therapy.  He is very experienced in treating patients requiring prostheses with acquired and congenital oral defects.
