The Hospital Dentistry Institute at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics boasts graduate resident training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and General Dentistry (GPR). Our 15,000 square foot facility opened in the spring of 2001 and offers an unparalleled, world-class environment for teaching, research and patient care. Our graduate programs possess a strong tradition of academic excellence, due in large part to recruitment and retention of the finest full-time faculty in the country. Our close association with the College of Dentistry further augments the educational and patient care experience at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
The faculty's main focus is one of training both residents and students, while instilling values of ethics, morality and empathy. The environment for learning is enhanced by the extraordinary character inherent to this unique Midwest community. We encourage you to visit our facility and research our programs, to experience first hand this exceptional opportunity in Iowa City, Iowa.
