The University of Iowa Huntington’s Disease Society of America Center of Excellence is once again sponsoring the 2011 HDSA Iowa City Hoop-A-Thon fundraising event, part of the HDSA Iowa Chapter’s 2011 Hoop Tour. All funds raised for the HDSA will go toward Huntington disease research and support.

2011 Hoop Tour

What is a Hoop-A-Thon?

Participants stand at the free-throw line and attempt to make as many shots as they can in 5 minutes. Shooters collect donations or pledges per shot made in order to participate, and receive a T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for top shooters by age category and for top fundraisers.
