Anne Leserman, MSW, LISW
Anne Leserman has been the social worker at the HD Center since 2003. She coordinates the monthly clinic, leads the support group, writes the quarterly newsletter and is often the first contact that families have with our HD Center on the phone or by email.
Anne received her MSW from the University of Utah, her BSW from the University of Illinois and is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She came to Iowa in 2000 and worked as a private clinician before joining the HD Center staff. She and her family lived in Richmond, Virginia for 17 years. She coordinated inpatient psychiatric admissions, managed an outpatient crisis service and worked at the University Counseling Center all at Virginia Commonwealth University and Medical College of Virginia. Anne is enjoying her Iowa City experience.
