MCI: Tracking Memory Problems in Older Adults


Principal Investigator: Dr. Kevin Duff

Study Description: This research project is studying the earliest changes in function in persons with memory problems.  Our goal is to see whether some of these changes predict whose memory will continue to decline and whose memory will remain stable across one year.

Who is eligible?

1) 65 years or older

2) Complaints of memory problems

3) Without history of some medical conditions

-Major neurological illness (e.g., stroke)
-Major psychiatric illness (e.g., major depression)

4) Not taking certain medications

-Seizure medications
-Antipsychotics
-Cognitive enhancers
