We welcome both provider and self-referrals for our current study of the treatment of postpartum depression. The study is investigating the effects of medication and psychotherapy for postpartum depression.
To qualify, women must be 18 years of age or older, within one year postpartum, and report symptoms of depression.
Upon referral, potential subjects will be screened by IDCRC research staff for eligibility for the study.
Eligible subjects will be treated locally for 12 weeks by either psychiatrists or counselors. All treatment and medications are provided free of charge.
