This two day course will focus on training as an IPT supervisor, and is designed for those clinicians who have already been trained as IPT therapists. General principles of supervision with specific application to IPT will be covered in didactic and small group settings. Training also includes review of rating scales and reliability using quality and adherence measures.

This two day course will provide certification as an IPT supervisor (Level D). The course is designed for clinicians who have already been certified as IPT therapists and have completed Level C. General principles of supervision with specific application to IPT will be covered in didactic and small group settings. Training also includes review of rating scales and reliability using quality and adherence measures.

Location: The conference will be held in the University of Iowa Conference Center, Old Capitol Town Center, 201 S. Clinton St., Iowa City, IA. Interpersonal Psychotherapy Introductory Course

This two day course will focus on training in IPT, and meets criteria for Level A training in IPT. General principles of IPT will be covered in didactic and small group settings. Training will focus on direct clinical application of IPT.

12 contact hours or 1.2 General CEU credits

Paula Ravitz, MD, FRCPC, is Associate Head of the Psychotherapy Program, Head of IPT post-graduate training and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto Department of Psychiatry. She devotes her practice to the teaching, clinical application and research of IPT.
