Male Fertility Evaluation

Male fertility issues play a role in about 50 percent of all couples facing fertility problems. It is general practice that an evaluation of a couple’s fertility problems begin when the couple expresses concern and that the male and female are evaluated simultaneously.

The UI Male Fertility Clinic team, headed by Moshe Wald, MD, a fellowship-trained urologist, work hand-in-hand with the UI Center for Reproductive Endocrinology so that a team approach is used to determine the best options for the couple.

Whether a couple is seeking a vasectomy reversal, or the male partner requires treatment for common conditions such as varicocele or hormone disorders, the couple will be carefully guided through all treatment options available.
