Newborn TV Channel

Check out “The Newborn Channel” which is offered in English and Spanish.  Check with your nurse for channel settings.

The Mother-Baby nursing staff has selected a variety of informational pamphlets, books, and videos which will serve as a supplement to the important information your nurse will provide to you during your stay.  You will receive additional pamphlets and books on the Mother-Baby Unit after you deliver.  These will help prepare you for caring for your newborn and yourself.

You will be able to view, “The Newborn Channel”, a television network exclusive for education for new families that airs 24 hours a day.  Included in the programming is information on newborn care, care for you the mother, new father and sibling information plus much more.  Located in this pocket folder is a program guide that will give you a list of programs and viewing times.  Your nurse has checked the programs she recommends you watch.  You can then check off the programs you actually watched.

If at anytime you have questions about the information included in these resources, please talk with your nurse.
