Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery
The program includes all aspects of daVinci robotic surgery

Adult Cardiac Surgery

Adult Thoracic Surgery (General Thoracic Surgery)
The general thoracic service provides state-of-the-art treatment for esophageal disease and surgery for pulmonary insufficiency, as well as lung cancer.

Pediatric and Congenital Cardiothoracic Surgery
The pediatric cardiothoracic program continues to grow, both in complex repairs for congenital heart disease and general thoracic procedures such as minimally invasive repairs for chest wall deformities pectus carinatum and pectus excavatum.
  • Repair of congenital heart defects
  • Anomalous coronary artery repairs
  • Repair of arch anomalies (including coarctation and patent ductus arteriosus)
  • Atrial and ventricular septal defect repairs as well as AV canal procedures
  • Treatment of a cyanotic heart disease (including tetralogy of Fallot)
  • Heart assist device support, ECMO
  • Treatment of hypoplastic left heart syndrome and the Norwood procedure
  • Pediatric cardiac transplantation
  • Repairs of pediatric chest wall deformities (pectus excavatum and carinatum)
  • Treatment of pediatric hyperhidrosis
  • Treatment of pediatric thoracic and cardiac tumors
  • Ross procedure
  • Single ventricle repair (including Glenn and Fontan procedures)
