Dermatology Residency


Rotations

First Year

Twelve month rotation in the outpatient clinic.

Second Year

Six months are spent full-time in the outpatient clinic and/or the inpatient referral and consultation service, and three months are assigned to a busy cutaneous surgery rotation with Drs. Messingham and Arpey. The remaining 3 months are spent at the Veterans Administration outpatient clinic.

Third Year

Quarterly assignments are dermatopathology (with Dr. Mary S. Stone), Inpatient Referral and Consultation Service, Veterans Administration Medical Center outpatient clinic, and a two-month special study elective. Special study periods are arranged individually to meet the training needs of each resident, under approval by the head of the department.
