Flight Paramedics

The AirCare flight paramedics are EMS providers who maintain minimal certifications in ACLS, PALS, NRP, and PHTLS. The paramedics work side by side with the flight nurses to provide the highest level of care for the critically ill patient population that they transport. Many of the flight paramedics are firefighters and thus possess special skills in extrication, patient packaging, and other techniques inherent to the fire service.
