Respiratory Therapists

As part of the AirCare team, respiratory therapists accompany flight nurses for neonatal and pediatric ground transports. These respiratory therapists specialize in the neonatal and pediatric patient population and have a minimum one year of clinical experience in the neonatal ICU before joining the team. They hold certifications in NRP and PALS. The therapists manage the airway, ventilation, perform specialty gas needs, and assist the primary nurse with point of care laboratory testing of blood gases and blood electrolytes.
