A renovated and expanded UI Emergency Treatment Center (ETC) opened in April 2008 to better meet the needs of our patients and staff.
The new ETC offers patients a personal, private experience in quiet, non-threatening areas that encourage family interaction. It also allows emergency care professionals the space to deliver care more efficiently and more effectively.
