Emergency Treatment Center - Construction Update Notice

Week of April 18, 2005

In order to upgrade the mechanical system in Carver Pavilion, a mechanical penthouse is being built on the roof. Beginning Tuesday, April 19, to facilitate this work, the exit door to the ambulance bay will be blocked by a crane. Ambulances will need to back out of the ambulance bay. The exit from the stairs and lobby just south of elevator E will also be closed, as will the smoking shack.

This work will take two to four weeks (depending on the weather).

At no time will ambulance or patient accessibility to the ETC be interrupted.
