Emergency Medicine Research
Research in emergency medicine is a young and rapidly growing field in need of creative investigators to help us meet the research needs of our unique patient population. Research in our department includes areas of general interest to emergency medical services (EMS), including trauma, resuscitation, pain management, and healthcare outcomes. Our department also does research in such diverse areas as hibernation, rural healthcare delivery, injury prevention, educational innovation, and public policy.
To achieve our research mission, we are building a network of collaborators across campus and across the nation. Together, our faculty, staff, and students will work to integrate basic, translational, and clinical research, and to translate that research into expanded and improved emergency medical care.
