Multi-factorial Interventions for Reducing Binge Drinking Among College Students

Project Summary: The long-term goal of our studies is to work with our partners to reduce the serious health and safety consequences of alcohol over-consumption by young adults in our community. The specific goals of this study are to determine whether University of Iowa (UI) alcohol safety programs are effective, and to test the feasibility of an emergency department-based alcohol safety intervention designed to supplement ongoing alcohol injury prevention efforts.
