Weekly Conferences and Activities
The Family Medicine conferences are designed to offer residents a comprehensive overview of material to complement clinical learning experiences in family medicine. A conference schedule, which includes the topic, speaker, location and time, is distributed weekly.
Community and visiting physicians are welcome to attend the Monday, Wednesday and Friday noon conferences. Participants may receive credit for continuing education and are encouraged to sign in when attending. The noontime programs are acceptable for one "prescribed" hour by the American Academy of Family Physicians and one credit hour in Category I of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.
