I was born and raised in Los Angeles and I received a B.S. in Physiological Sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles in June 2003. I then packed up and moved to the Midwest and graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in May 2008. During medical school, I spent time volunteering in Cuba and Mexico, and took a year off to participate in substance abuse research in Los Angeles. In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching sports and doing anything outdoors. My professional interests include addiction medicine, especially substance abuse, and providing comprehensive care for those with medical and psychiatric conditions.
