I grew up near Chicago in Hammond and then Schererville, Indiana.  I completed my undergraduate degree at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana where I was a four year member of the Women's Basketball team and helped guide them to the Division III Final Four my senior year.  I went to medical school at the University of Iowa and quickly fell in love with Iowa City.  Wonderful people, little traffic, big ten athletics, and amazing diversity...what is not to love?  It was an easy choice to stay at the University of Iowa for post-graduate training because of the wonderful staff and awesome residents.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my partner and son, enjoying the outdoors, and hoping this is the year for the Chicago Cubs.  I would be very happy to talk with anyone about the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Iowa.  Feel free to contact me.
