I grew up in Chateauguay Quebec, a small town ten miles out of Montreal and graduated with a biology degree from Concordia University. I have done many things in my life, working as a research assistant, general contractor, teaching and writing medical English in Shanghai P.R.C. I have always been interested in health care and my work in Shanghai inspired me to complete my medical degree in the Caribbean. I am fortunate to have a caring wife and two beautiful children whom I adore. I can not begin to explain how fortunate I feel to be here in the home of the Hawkeyes with such wonderful people to share a dream with. I love to do just about anything that ends with "ing." Camping, fishing, hiking, cooking for you, teasing you, making you laugh, traveling, reading and tickling my kids until they beg for mercy. It really is wonderful here and if you have any questions please contact me at robert-laberge@uiowa.edu.
