Jeff was born in Germany but primarily grew up outside Chicago.  He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago for his undergraduate studies in psychology and biological sciences, the University of Durham in England for his graduate work in psychology, and the University of Pennsylvania for medical school.  Jeff is one of two preliminary residents in the program this year, and thereafter he will be continuing on here at Iowa as a resident in the Department of Radiology.  When not working, Jeff enjoys travel, playing squash, renovating his house, and relaxing with his wife and dog.
