Family Medicine Medical Students

In the Department of Family Medicine we encourage student interest and participation. Our goals are to provide medical students with education about medical issues in Family Medicine, experiences in community family medicine, and support and resources for those who wish to pursue careers in family medicine.

The Family Medicine Predoctoral Education Team welcomes contact from UI medical students as well as from our preceptors.

We are located in the Lower Level of the Pomerantz Family Pavilion, where we have a Medical Student Resource Room with 3 computers for student use and space for student studying.
