Clinical Trials: Huntington's Disease


Title: PHAROS (Pilot Huntington at Risk Observational Study)

Description: Three year observational study in North America (U.S. and Canada) of people ages 30-54 who are at risk for Huntington's Disease. Subjects will be seen in clinic for evaluation of movement, psychological and behavioral function every nine months for a period of three years.
Purpose: To determine the criticl period marking transition from health to illness in individuals who carry the HD gene in order to provide information for future experimental drug trials for HD.
Status: Active since July 1999
